Amy has been a professional musician and performer for over thirty years. Having started playing guitar and piano at the age of 8, she quickly graduated from playing other people's music to writing her own. Her catchy and clever songs have been the core of her bands since the early 1980's. Amy has taught kids rock bands from her home studio, organized open mic nights, and large musical events like the Redding Rock'n Roots Revival, which hosts multiple bands throughout the day long event, and draws thousands of people every July 4th. She is also currently dabbling in the French Horn and the Trumpet. : ) |
